  1. What is the difference between FEP and PFA

  First, we analyze the difference between FEP and PFA from the characteristics of the two products, FEP and PFA.

  FEP tube product features:

  ①FEP tube basically retains many characteristics of PTFE tube, such as insulation, anti-corrosion, lubrication and wear resistance, resistance to atmospheric aging, etc., high temperature resistance of 200 degrees.

  ②FEP pipe has low melt viscosity and excellent thermal stability.

  PFA tube product features:

  ① PFA has all the properties of PTFE, and the temperature resistance can also reach 260°C.

  ②The melt viscosity of PFA is lower than that of FEP, and it has excellent thermal stability.

  ③ PFA tube, PTFE and FEP are also extruded.

  ④ The PFA tube is transparent.

  In summary, there are two differences between FEP and PFA

  (F-46) Polyperfluoroethylene propylene (F-46) is a fluoroplastic developed to overcome the shortcomings of poor processing and molding properties of PTFE. It is a copolymer of polytetrafluoroethylene and polyhexafluoropropylene (F-6). Polytetrafluoroethylene propylene is a synthetic polymer material that uses fluorine to replace all hydrogen atoms in polyethylene.   3. Can the FEP tube take hydrogen peroxide?

  The molecular structure of FEP is the same as that of polytetrafluoroethylene. It is also a fully fluorinated structure. The difference is that part of the fluorine atoms in the main chain of F46 are replaced by trifluoromethyl (-CF3).

  Chemically: it is stable to almost all chemicals and solvents

  Thermally: The continuous use temperature of PTFE and PFA is 260 degrees, and the continuous use temperature of FEP is 200 degrees.

  Mechanically: the smallest coefficient of friction and tightness

  Electrical: In the insulator, it has a smaller dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor

  Others: non-adhesive, weather resistance, flame resistance, low temperature resistance

  Hydrogen peroxide, the chemical formula H2O2. Pure hydrogen peroxide is a light blue viscous liquid that can be miscible with water in any proportion. It is a strong oxidant. Its aqueous solution is commonly known as hydrogen peroxide and is a colorless and transparent liquid. Its aqueous solution is suitable for medical wound disinfection, environmental disinfection and food disinfection. Under normal circumstances, it will slowly decompose into water and oxygen, but the decomposition rate is extremely slow. The way to speed up the reaction is to add a catalyst-manganese dioxide, etc. or irradiate it with shortwave rays.

  Can the FEP tube take hydrogen peroxide? The answer is no problem at all. FEP has stability to almost all chemicals and solvents, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and friction resistance. The oxidation and corrosion effects of hydrogen peroxide are extremely small compared to other chemicals and solvents.
