  Teflon generally refers to Teflon.   Teflon compression molding method: Teflon compression molding includes four steps of mixing, preforming, sintering and cooling. Pre-forming is to add PTFE powder evenly into the mold and press at room temperature to form a compact pre-form (ie rough); sintering is to heat the pre-form to above the melting point, and to cool down from the sintering temperature to room temperature the process of.

  Some Teflon is pressurized once above the melting point temperature. This kind of forming mold is called a hot press mold, and the corresponding mold is called a cold press mold.

  Attention should be paid to the influence of compression ratio (generally PTFE is 4-6) and molding shrinkage rate (generally PTFE is 2.6-4.5%) when molding PTFE.

  The first step: It is best to use suspension method to polymerize the resin as the raw material, and the soft and fine powder with a particle size of 20-500 microns is the best.

  The second step: the pressing process must be "deflated", the preforming pressure is 17-35 MPa, and the holding time depends on the thickness of the blank. For example, a 100 mm thick blank should be held for 15 minutes.

  Step 3: When Teflon sintering, it should be noted that the heating speed can be 20-120℃ for hours. The larger the product, the slower the heating speed. The resin sintering temperature of Teflon suspension method is higher, which is 370-380℃, while the dispersion method The resin sintering temperature is lower, 360-370℃, and the sintering temperature is high, the shrinkage rate and porosity will increase accordingly, and the sintering time should be properly controlled.

  The fourth step: cooling, generally use slow cooling, the speed is 15-25 ℃ hours, in special circumstances, such as a few thin plates with a thickness of less than 5 mm or thin-walled tubes formed by pressing, rapid cooling is used.
