"China Plastics Association Fluoroplastics Processing Professional Committee 2007 Annual Meeting and Special Committee’s 15th Anniversary Celebration" Meeting Minutes
"The 2007 Annual Meeting of the Fluorine Plastics Processing Professional Committee of China Plastics Association and the 15th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the Special Committee" was grandly held in Shanghai Shuangyong Building on November 28, 2007. Liao Zhenzhen, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, Wang Jianzhong, Director of the Economic Operation Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Li Ying, Director of the Integrated Business Department of the China Light Industry Industry Federation, attended the celebration and delivered enthusiastic speeches. Invited to attend the celebration were Wang Boming, the first chairman of the Fluoroplastics Special Committee, Li Mingwu, the first and second secretary-generals, Zheng Kai, secretary-general of China Engineering Plastics Industry Association, and Yin Xuzong, deputy secretary-general of China Fiberglass Industry Association. The meeting was presided over by Secretary-General Chen Sheng. Chairman Zhuang Su first gave a report entitled "Fluorine Polyesters, Hand in Hand for the Future". President Liao, on behalf of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, gave the previous staff, the previous directors and the secretary-general of the Fluoroplastics Processing Committee of the China Plastics Association. A series of issues in the development of technology development and the improvement of the level of process equipment, and at the same time strengthen exchanges and communication with international counterparts, to promote the healthy development of the industry and promote the prosperity and development of the world's fluoroplastics processing industry.
Director Li Ying and Secretary-General Zheng Kai expressed heartfelt congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the special committee on behalf of the Military Industry Office of the Light Industry Federation and the Brothers Association.
Li Zongli, director of Tianjin No. 9 Plastics Factory, Pu Yuan, general manager of Shanghai Valqua Fluoroplastics Co., Ltd., and Mr. Pang Tai, manager of Solvay China, delivered speeches at the meeting on behalf of member companies, foreign-funded member companies and cooperative member companies. Affirmed the achievements of the special committee in the past 15 years, and at the same time is full of hope for the future development of China's fluoroplastics industry.
In the afternoon, the participants listened to the 2007 work report of the special committee made by Secretary-General Chen Sheng. The report summarized the main work of the special committee in the past year and put forward specific plans for the next step.
The meeting also listened to a report by Professor Li Mingwu of the Fluoroplastics Special Committee on "Overview of the Development of my country's Fluoroplastics Molding and Processing Industry". The report reviewed the development process of my country's fluoroplastics molding and processing industry from meeting the needs of the defense industry and cutting-edge science and technology to being widely used in civilians. The continuous improvement of fluoroplastics processing technology and the increasing variety of fluoroplastics products with the increasing market demand has prompted China's fluoroplastics. The company is booming, and a detailed analysis of the distribution characteristics of domestic fluoroplastic products has been made.
Mr. PAULSON from JMJ of India introduced the development status of the fluoroplastics market in India and the urgently needed technical and equipment issues in India at the meeting, which aroused widespread interest among the participants. Senior engineer Jiang Zhijia from the 23rd Institute of the Ministry of Electronics gave a detailed statement on the current situation and development trend of my country's fluoroplastic wire and cable at the meeting, which was widely welcomed by the representatives. On December 29th, the delegates visited the "3rd International Fluorosilicon Materials Exhibition" hosted by the special committee at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. Among them, some member units participated in the exhibition as exhibitors, exhibited their new products, and communicated with relevant experts and customers, all of which received a good response.
