On May 19, 2015, the Fifth Meeting of the Sixth China Plastics Processing Industry Association was held in the multifunctional hall on the third floor of Zhujiang Hotel, Guangzhou. Minister Chen Shineng, Vice President of China National Light Industry Council, and Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association Qian Gui Jing, Vice Chairman of China National Light Industry Association, Chairman of Guangdong Light Industry Association Yang Daxing, Executive Vice Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association Cao Jian, former Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association Liao Zhenzhen and other leaders attended the meeting. More than 200 people including leaders, experts and representatives of plastic industry associations across the country attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Qian Guijing.
The meeting reviewed and approved the 2014 work report of the China Plastics Association and the main points of work in 2015; the 2014 annual membership fee income and expenditure report. It also reviewed and approved the proposal of adding new members; the proposal of adding directors, standing directors, and specially invited vice-chairmen; and the proposal of Comrade Chen Shineng and Liao Zhenzhen no longer serving as honorary chairmen of the sixth council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association; passed; passed "Administrative Measures for Branches of China Plastics Processing Industry Association (Revised Draft)".
The morning meeting also held the commendation of the advanced unit of patent work in China's plastics processing industry and the awarding ceremony of the second batch of credit rating evaluation enterprises in China's plastics industry in 2014. Twenty companies won the honorary title of Advanced Unit for Patent Work in China's Plastics Processing Industry, and 54 companies won the honorary title of the second batch of China's plastics industry credit rating evaluation in 2014.
Finally, Chairman Qian Guijing gave a report entitled "Current Situation of China's Plastics Processing Industry and Planning Ideas for the 13th Five-Year Plan" to this meeting.
