  ECTFE (Halat), ETFE (Teflon), FEP (Teflon), PFA (Teflon) and modified PTFE, like partially fluorinated or perfluorinated polymer materials, can be processed by thermoplastic molding methods. They are effective for almost all organic And inorganic compounds, whether acidic or alkaline, have high tolerance. These materials show universal and long-lasting resistance to acids, alkali solvents and chlorides. A type of thermoplastic resin containing fluorine atoms in its molecular structure. It also shows excellent resistance to mechanical damage in terms of wear resistance, impact resistance and toughness.

  The performance characteristics of various coating materials are summarized as follows:

  1. PTFE

  ●Maximum operating temperature is 300℃.

  ●The continuous use temperature is 260℃.

  ●The sintering temperature used for PTFE coating is 380~420℃.

  ●Very low coefficient of friction, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.

  ●The spraying thickness of PTFE is about 50um (liquid). PTFE has no powder coating, but powder is used for the lining. The thickness of the lining ranges from 2mm to 5mm. The anti-corrosion thickness is based on customer requirements. The liquid is used for anti-sticking and wear resistance. There are several colors.

  ●Corrosion resistance: PTFE is hardly corroded by chemicals and can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.

  ●PTFE can only be used for lining in anti-corrosion, not suitable for coating.

  Two, PFA

  ●The highest operating temperature is 290℃.

  ●The continuous use temperature is 260℃.

  ●The sintering temperature used for PFA coating is 380℃.

  ●With higher continuous use temperature and stronger hardness, it is especially suitable for anti-sticking and chemical resistance applications under high temperature conditions.

  ●The spraying thickness of PFA is 100um (liquid), which is mainly used for anti-sticking and high temperature resistance. The thickness of PFA electrostatic powder spraying can range from 0.2mm to 1.0mm. Generally, primers are required and cannot be used alone. The color is black, brown, and primer. It is a liquid, the surface layer is powder, the liquid needs to use an air spray gun, and the powder needs to use an electrostatic powder spray gun.

  ●Corrosion resistance: PFA is hardly corroded by chemicals and can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.

  Three, FEP

  ●Maximum operating temperature is 230℃.

  ●The continuous use temperature is 200℃.

  ●The sintering temperature used for FEP coating is 360℃.

  ●FEP coating is the toughest fluoropolymer. It can form a highly durable coating with excellent chemical resistance and can work continuously at 200°C.

  ●FEP spraying thickness is 50um (liquid), mainly used for anti-sticking, (normal use below 200℃) PFA electrostatic powder spraying thickness can range from 0.2mm to 1.0mm. Generally, primers are required and cannot be used alone. The color is black and green. , The primer is liquid, the surface layer is powder, air spray gun is used for liquid, and electrostatic powder spray gun is used for powder.

  ●Corrosion resistance: FEP is hardly corroded by chemicals and can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.

  Four, ETFE

  ●Maximum operating temperature is 200℃.

  ●The continuous use temperature is 150℃.

  ●The sintering temperature used for ETFE coating is 280-320℃.

  ●ETFE can form a highly durable coating with excellent chemical resistance and can work continuously at 150°C.

  ●The spraying thickness of ETFE can range from 0.2mm to 1.8mm, divided into primer and topcoat.

  ●ETFE powder coating as a corrosion-resistant protective coating is widely used in the chemical industry, paper industry, pharmaceutical industry, food industry and semiconductor industry.

  Five, ECTFE

  ●Maximum operating temperature is 200℃.

  ●The continuous use temperature is 150℃.

  ●The sintering temperature used for ECTFE coating is 270-290℃.

  ●This resin is the toughest fluoropolymer, can form a highly durable coating, and can work continuously at 150°C.

  ● ECTFE coating has excellent surface smoothness and chemical resistance.

  ●The spraying thickness of ECTFE can range from 0.2mm to 1.5mm, divided into primer and topcoat.

  ●Usually ECTFE powder coating is applied on the surface of stainless steel and carbon steel, of course, it has been successfully applied on the surface of other metals (copper, aluminum, titanium) and ceramics.
