The FEP tube extruder is composed of motor (i.e. driving device), reducer (reducer), distribution box, cylinder, screw (cylinder screw is

part), heating and cooling device and electrical control device.

The core part of the structure of the FEP tube extruder is the cylinder and the screw, the other parts are auxiliary equipment, but

without these equipment is impossible. These equipment are fixed and vulnerable parts. The FEP is set to a certain speed by the feeder

and pushed into the material tank of the machine so that the FEP is naturally pushed into the screws of the machine.

A zone (pre-plasticized zone) : A zone plays a very important role in the electronic heating and extrusion process of the entire FEP

extruder.

It's more important than any other area. Its tasks include:

 

1) The FEP material is compacted, cut and transported forward for quantification.

 

2) If pre-plasticization is not achieved in one area, the plasticization degree of the whole machine cannot be achieved. Throughout

the extruder (excluding the mold), the temperature in one area is very high.

Second zone (Plasticizing zone) : In this zone, the dry powder material in the first zone is transferred into a block by the pre-

plasticizing pressure in the first zone. As the screw rotates, the compacted block is passed forward to the second region. In this area,

the structure of the screw changes, the screw becomes 4~5 mm thick, resulting in 9~11 turns of spiral, the two ends are

disconnected, so that the second area fully reaches the standard plasticization degree of more than 90%.

Because there are many small slots in the screw, the purpose of stirring has been achieved, so overall, the second area has achieved

more than 90% plasticization.

If the material in one zone is not pre-plasticized, it will adversely affect the second zone: If the FEP extruder has a good plasticizing

capacity, the temperature setting in this zone should be 1~2℃ lower than or equal to the first zone. If the plasticizing ability of the

extruder is good, the temperature in this zone should be equal to that in zone 1.

Three zones (homogenization zone) : The function of this zone is to fully plasticize the material that has not been fully plasticized in

two zones. Three zones should ensure 100% plasticization. Therefore, three areas of the extruder are also important. The

temperature of the three areas should be less than 5~6℃ of the two areas, and the temperature should not exceed 8℃. Because the

steel pipe screw material belongs to alloy steel, rigid material has thermal conductivity, so the temperature ladder difference is too

great effect.

 

Four zones (quantitative conveying extrusion zone) : This zone does not undertake any plasticizing task. If the FEP is plasticized well,

it can be seen in the area that the screw floats and rotates in the center of the extruder cylinder. Thus, the task of the four regions of

the extruder is to quantitatively transport the FEP melt forward. If the area has plasticizing capacity, it will cause great harm to the

extruder.

The temperature of the four regions should be less than that of the three regions, and the temperature difference between the two

regions should be 5 to 6 degrees Celsius, not more than 8 degrees Celsius. From the above point of view, the temperature of the

extruder goes from high to low, and a zone of higher temperature is not allowed to go from low to high, nor is it allowed to be flat.

But in general, the temperature difference between one zone and four zones must not exceed 20 ° C.

1) Fusion and fusion of two screw extruded melt FEP.

2) Fine-tuning device, plasticization degree.

3) The melt pressure can be measured by the sensor of the confluence core, and the degree of plasticization can be judged by the

temperature of the melt. The function of the plasticization trimmer: when the plasticization degree is a little low or a little high, the

degree of plasticization can be adjusted by lowering or raising the temperature of the conjoint core, without considering other

problems of the FEP extruder.
